Competent people create project success! Competent practitioners have the ability to apply knowledge effectively in the context of their project.


Stream 1: Delivering complex projects and programs. This stream focuses on the challenges of delivering major projects and programs in a complex environment. This stream will focus on the skills needed to lead complex projects to success where the projects and programs are characterised by uncertainty, ambiguity, dynamic interfaces, advanced (and changing technology), and significant political or external influences.

Stream 1 is presented by the ICCPM.

Stream 2: Controlling projects and programs. This stream focuses on the tools, techniques and technology needed to deliver successful projects and programs ranging from DevOps and Agile to EVM and CPM. The tools and techniques used for project controls are continuing to evolve. papers in this stream will cover the latest
enhancements in the three core focuses of an effective controls system, estimating and controlling costs, planning and managing the use of time and resources, and measuring performance to achieve success.

Stream 2 is supported by PC Expo and ICEAA

Stream 3: Governance and stakeholders
. This stream focuses on designing and governing organizations to deliver the broader aspects of project and program success, including benefits realization, sustainability, social and economic responsibility, STS (socio-technical transition to sustainability), diversity, and developing and managing the skilled people needed to engage effectively with stakeholders to deliver project and program success.

Continuing Professional Development

PGCS provide delegates with a statement of attendance that is accepted by many professional organisations including:

PMI PDUs: 1 PDU per hour spent in a conference session or Masterclass

AIPM CPD Points:
Attending the Symposium (A03) 2 points per hour (maximum of 10 points)
Attending a Masterclass (B08) 2 points per hour (maximum of 12 points for six Hrs.)

ICCEA recertification points: Two points to CCEAs who report having attended PGCS.
